2nd International Conference on Serious Games and Applications for Health, SeGAH 2013

It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the IEEE 2nd International Conference on Serious Games and Applications for Health, SeGAH 2013, promoted by the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado e Ave. This year SeGAH will take place in Vilamoura, Portugal, on May 2-3, 2013.

The overall objectives of the conference are the discussion and sharing of knowledge, experiences and scientific and technical results, related to state-of-the-art solutions, technologies and applications of serious games in health and healthcare, as well as the demonstration of advanced products and technologies.

Possible topics include, but are not limited to:

         - Virtual environments;
         - Patient education;
         - Public health education;
         - Game-based learning;
         - Exercising and active living;
         - Assistive technologies;

         - Rehabilitation;

         - Game design and development.

Important Dates:
       - Paper submission deadline: January 28, 2013 - CLOSED
       - Extended abstract/poster submission deadline: March 3, 2013

Accepted posters will be presented in a posters session during the conference, and the corresponding extended abstract (of between 250 to 400 words length) will be included in an USB pen.
